I don't know what waked up the two grouchy reviewers here, but I woke up to a nice calming bell. I'm clearer when I start the day gently.I have had three Zen Alarm Clocks for at least a dozen years, and I can not imagine waking up another way, except when I am naturally done sleeping.
I have the travel clock, too. The clocks eventually wear out, yes. They're not Rolexes. But I've gotten years of use before that happened. I have had no problems. Maybe I'll even get their doorbell and phone ringer -- it would probably bring another level of serenity.
That calming bell changes the whole atmosphere.This product is lovely. I've given a couple as gifts over the years, and my friends have been happy too.
I know no better way to start my days in such a kind, gentle way!
