I have had this model clock for years.Mine was recently destroyed in a flood, and I have been looking all over for a replacement.This is a simple design, easy-to-use, classic travel alarm clock.Most travel alarms are now battery-operated.I leave my travel alarm in my suitcase, and don't take it out until I'm somewhere where I need it.I'd hate to have a travel alarm with a battery, which might let me down just when I needed it.Because this clock is wind-up, it will never have that problem.
This clock is small and sturdy, and my last one never let me down in nearly 30 years of use.My old model made a soft ticking sound, which I found was not a problem as long as I set it on a soft surface, and not near my head.I am so relieved to find that it is still in production - A CLASSIC!
