The batman logo on it and the hands all fade together - and so it's of little help and it is hard to tell the time even for us adults.

Also the alarm is annoying - my son won't even use it and he's 6 and LOVES Batman.

Westclox Echo Quartz Clock Review

This is a nice cheap alarm clock. Looks reasonably good overall. The dial and arms are easy to see. It is easy to use. The progressive sound of the alarm is a useful feature and will wake you up sooner or later. The only thing I noticed is that it is a bit noisy, you can hear the clock arm move every second.
But for the price, is a great deal. Can take it around for travel etc without worrying about damaging it.

Natural Sounds Digital Alarm Clock Review

I needed a portable battery powered alarm clock that has an illuminated dial. Chosing this clock was a big mistake. It's time can only be illuminated by pressing one of several confusing un-labeled buttons TWICE, so you can't just see the time in a dark room. The alarm mechanism has mal-functioned on several occasions, usually at the worst time. The "nature sounds" are actually cheap sounding and annoying. The badly translated directions are worthless. This is the perfect gift for someone you detest.

Jimi Rocker Clock Review

I just received one of these for Christmas and wow is this a bad product. I hate it so much that I wish Jimi was a person so I could punch it in the face. I'm a pretty tech savvy guy and it took me several minutes to figure out how to find the controls to set the clock. Once I found themI found it impossible to actually set the time and the date, the buttons are so sorry that I literally could not set it. Add in the growing frustration with the incessant beeping and you've got a heck of a thing to return. Looks cute but total garbage. Bye Jimi!

Soccerball Projection Clock Review

I had seen a projection alarm clock in Costco in 2008 for [...] but never bought it thinking its expensive for a china made alarm clock. I think it had an option to change colors to red, green or blue.

I decided to finally get one but Costco didn't have it anymore. So I came here on Amazon looking for he cheapest one. This is the cheapest one I could find and it turned out to be great. This is just what I wanted. It points to the ceiling and I can see the time anytime in the night easily without turning or moving.

It works fine. Comes with an adapter to save on batteries. You must install a pair of AA batteries so that in power failure you wont loose the time. The alarm and LCD display work on batteries alone but not the continuous projector. So you can take the alarm on camps and outings without any worries of electricity.

Great buy for the price.

Flashlight Alarm Travel Clock By Howard Miller Review

They call it titanium finished, but it's an awfully flimsy titanium. This combination alarm clock/flashlight has a mediocre display and a not too bright light. But then again, for less than $20 one shouldn't expect anything special.

However, one might expect the thing to work. Unfortunately, on a weeklong trip the flashlight gave out on night two. This was a little sooner than hoped for. The clock still works. Yipee!

Big Ben 2000 Baby Ben Deluxe Review

I like this retro Big Ben clock. I hate it when the battery would run out on the clock I was using - no notice, just stopped because of the battery. I thought that winding the clock would be a nice ritual at night; and it is really. Only a few times, I have forgotten to wind it, and it would get behind. But since it runs on 36 hour time, the alarm still worked. It has a loud, but pleasant alarm. No snooze button on this clock though. You also have to wind the alarm! Still, I'm enjoying it, and it definitely wakes this heavy sleeper up every day!

Bedol Hand Held All-World Timepiece: 13 time zones/Silver, Clock Review

Pros: It tells good time. It's a good size for travel and not bad as a desk clock. Once you set it up, the international clock feature (you rotate the dial and it tells the time in the city at 12:00 position) works well. It uses a battery that's easy to get in any major developed country. Any coin will open the battery compartment, it's essentially no-tool.

Cons: the unlit display can get glare on it if you're near a window. You have to tilt the clock a bit sometimes to read it quickly. Programming it that first time is tedious. The instructions are crazed. It's easier just experimenting. If you can set a digital watch with several functions, you can set this. If you *cannot*, don't buy this, you will cry.

It's worth the money if you don't have to rent a gadget freak to program it for you.

Giving this item 2 stars is being generous.I bought this for my ipod to use in the office.The volume is crazy, level 4 is too low (even though I have it about 1 foot away from me) & level 5 is too loud.The radio never gets reception.It doesn't charge my ipod at all.In fact it acutally froze my ipod on several occasions.I've had my ipod docked all day & the battery is completely drained.Don't waste your money.Get an iLuv (which I bought for my home) or an iHome.100% better quaility than this piece of crap.Extremely dissappointed.

American Innovative Roadshow Lecture Timer Review

One of the hardest things for me is staying within my time limits when speaking in front of my Toastmasters club. This little timer is exactly what I needed. It is easy to set up and use, and the visual indicators are easy to see. This should help me to keep within my time limits from now on. I was eager to see if the LED's were visible from 'behind' the timer. I wanted to know if this could be used by the time keeper at the club to show the time to the entire room. But the LED's are only visible from the front and from above the timer. So this will work great on the podium, but not for the entire room. Still... I love this clock and I'm going to recommend that my Toastmasters club buy their own.

The time on this clock is automatically refreshed daily.I have used the unit in Italy.The time continually alternates between European time and British time (one hour difference).Even if I manually set the time, the refresh feature cannot be disabled.I have experimented with different locations in the house, but I can't resolve the problem.I cannot trust this clock as an alarm clock (I did once, and while the clock was correct when I went to sleep, it had gotten out of kilter by morning).It's a great idea, but it doesn't work.

Oregon Scientific RM982A/SL Desktop Atomic Clock with Exactset Review

I purchased this clock to use as a World Time clock with my shortwave radio. It is a useful, accurate little "no-frills" self-setting clock. The alarm can also be nice, although it's not actually loud enough to wake me. The primary display mode conveniently shows you the time (with seconds), the date and the month. While the digits are not illuminated, the large "Snooze" button on top also activates a 5-second back-light.

Unfortunately, the mechanism that sets Zulu time in this clock has not taken into account the recent decision by the U.S. Congress to offset Daylight Saving Time by two weeks. Evidently, this clock computes the UCT time by extrapolating from the local time zone offset, instead of the opposite. This means that you'll have to adjust your offset by one hour for those two weeks between the time that the U.S. used to change their clocks and the time that they change them now.

Ok... so i know the price was cheap but for some reason when i think of the name " Hummer".. i think of quality. I thought maybe the clocks could be made of the scrap metal from the trucks... but alas... oh no... It came in a light little box ... a sweet, almost child-like toy clock made of a plastic.. but at least it was painted silver...I may give it to one of the kids to play with... " alt="#6026 MetBLU Travel Alarm Clock" border="0">This clock is simple.It tells the time, has an alarm, a 4 min. snooze and a light which suffices.All I wanted was a basic clock that I could fold up and take with me places that is fairly sturdy and this is it.The minute I took it out of the box I set the time then dropped it on the floor from different heights numerous times and tilted it around to see if the time/display would be affected.It wasn't, this clock keeps the time if you drop it or it falls, I've had it for about a month and it has only gained one minute, which actually helps me because I get out the door and to class with that little extra.The alarm itself is somewhat quiet, which I thought at first would be a problem, but it hasn't failed yet to wake me up every morning during the first stage of it's going off.And itdoesn't have that typical, extremely obnoxious "WAH! WAH!" alarm, which I can't stand and actually makes me wake up frightened, this one's just fast beeping that gets louder and faster as it goes, seems to wake me up and I haven't yet gotten used to it to where it isn't effective.The back-light is a little lame (I was used to the neat blue bright lights), from what I can tell it's just two small bulbs or something behind the display, but this does not make the time hard to see in the dark. It makes the display somewhat transluscent and you can see the numbers perfectly fine in the pitch black, the absence of an annoying blue light just takes a day or two to get used to.I'm actually really happy with this clock, as happy as you can be with a simple clock.It would be nice if it had a 24-hr. option, but that's just my preference.All in all, it's only 9-10 dollars, it's sturdy and the display doesn't crap out when it drops or tilts, the display is large enough to see from across a small room like a bedroom, the buttons don't feel like they'll fall off or pop out in a month or two, and it has worked well for me.If you're jsut looking for something basic that will get you up in the morning and tell you the time when you need it, I'd suggest this one (I purchased several others by timex and other companies in the same price range, 10-15 dollars and they were all extremely crappy, one had a display that actually wavered so bad you couldn't read the time when you tilted it at all in any direction other than upright.This one was definitely the best, hopefully it lasts a few years.)I gave it three stars not because it's a bad clock, just because it's basic.Good value though.

Waky Waker Dinosaur Alarm Clock Review

First of all...this dino image is of no real dinosaur...secondly, the dino roar is actually Godzilla's roar from the Japanese Godzilla movies...finally and most importantly, it is virtually impossible to set the alarm. Set it for 7, it goes off at 7:20. Set it for 7:30, it goes off at 8...you have to just keep trying different settings until the alarm finally goes off at the time you want. Not very convenient, especially when it is obviously designed for children. On the positive side, it is very sturdy and the roaring is nice & loud.

I have purchased 2 of these, both from Walgreens, both $9.99 each.With the first one I bought, everything worked great EXCEPT the LCD crystal was screwed up and you couldn't read the time.Its such a great concept that I decided to try my luck buying another one.Well, the second one's crystal is good, but only 6 of 8 sounds work.AND...Walgreens has either pulled it off their website for defectiveness (my suspicion) or they've all sold out.
